Chapter Four

CHAPTER FOUR

Jay walks towards Shirya and Hitesh who were working on the laptop. “Guys, don’t you feel hungry? I think it’s almost the lunch time.”  “Oh yes! Now speaking of food, even I feel hungry. Should go and we eat?”Hitesh moves his wrist to check on the time.

The trio walk towards the cafeteria. Shriya orders a plate of puri bhaji while Hitesh and Jay open up their tiffins. “Uhmm Jay why it feels that you’ve got something yummy in lunch today?” Hitesh sniffs around in air jokingly. “Yes, even I am smelling something delicious.” Shriya pops in sitting down with her order.

“Uh well Pari made my favourite Palak Paneer for me.” Jay opens up the foil wrap around the rotis. “Who’s pari?” Shriya enquired as there was a puzzled expression on her face. “She’s is Friend who acts like his mom.” Hitesh mocks and tries to dip roti in Palak Paneer. “Ya, wait till she knows what you said about her.” Jay hits Hitesh’s hand. Shriya keeps looking at the duo who are mocking each other while she keeps waiting for her answer.

“Parnika is my best friend and neighbour. I call her pari, it was her on the phone a while back. She wanted to know if I liked her surprise?” Jay pushes the tiffin towards Shriya offering her to taste. “She’s really great at cooking. At times it’s even better than mom’s even though she learnt this from mom.” Shriya takes a bite as Hitesh keeps gawking at his friend who had just denied sharing his lunch with him. “Mmmm, This is really good.” Shriya mumbles with her mouth full.

“Told ya! Anyway if you are free someday we can hangout together. I’d introduce you. She seemed curious about you as well.” Hitesh silently dived down into his lunch and kept staring at both of them as he felt being ignored.

“Really? I’d like to see her as well.” Shriya gets up and moves as she’s done with her lunch.

Hitesh and Jay walk towards the parking lot after finishing their first day at work. For the first day it wasn’t quite tedious. “Hey, when’s Khushi coming back?” Hitesh inserts key in his bike as Jay stands by. “I don’t know, she’s done with her diploma now but she wanted to stay there and work a bit there to get some experience.” Khushi had moved to london to study fashion designing which had been her dream unlike Jay who wanted to follow their parent’s footsteps. Khushi was the bold one out of the siblings and had decided to do her course from one of the best in the world at that time. It didn’t take her long to get accepted into the institute as soon as she finished her high school. Her grades were good enough to get her into the course and as Jay here was struggling with his careers, she headed out to make her own.

“What’s up with you two?” Jay had caught the glance of momentary sad expression on his friend’s face which he changed quickly. What's he hiding? “Hey, is everything okay?” Jay places hand on Hitesh shoulder who’s now on his bike thinking about something. “Hmm? Uh, no. It’s nothing, Just wanted to know how’s she? It’s been a long time seeing her.” Hitesh tries to hide but he had no idea that Jay had already sensed something wrong. “You are sure? I don’t think so, your expressions say something else.” Hitesh waves his hand, “Ah, it’s nothing. I am just tired. I need some nice and cozy sleep.” Hitesh fake yawns and rides his bike out.  Jay looks at him going for a while and then moves towards his car.

“How was your day?” Parnika chimes in as Jay opens the door and hangs the car keys on the keyholder on the wall by side. “It was amazing and tiry at the same time. For first it was great to see Hitesh back again. I thought he selected the offer to move to Canada with that company of his. But idiot decided to leave that and work with me. Isn’t he the best buddy one can have?” Jay sits by Parnika who switches off the tv. “Let’s dine together. I was waiting for you. I have made Gajar halwa for you.” Parnika places the remote and walks into the kitchen. “ I don’t wanna jinx it but is today something special? Everything has been awesome the whole day. Don’t bother to answer, hehe. I’ll go and change.” Jay heads upstairs to his room.

Parnika had planned a candle light dinner for Jay. She wanted to tell him something that she’s been waiting to tell him since a very long time. She had talked to Ma and Pa on the call today and they both were very happy to know it. They wanted to see how Jay reacts to it. It was all planned and set. Now, it was the just the waiting for that moment making Parnika nervous and anxious. She was worried if he’d flip out or be happy? They’d been together for a long time now and she wanted to take it a step further. But is He ready for it? The thought constantly kept her bugging until she saw Jay walk down the stairs happily.

She for once just wanted that smile to last on his face forever. Before she could speak, Jay started serving their plates. “I can’t wait anymore. This looks so delicious!” Parnika chuckles as Jay serves items one by one on the plates. “What?! You can’t blame me, I’m a die hard foodie.” Jay winks at Parnika whose eyes go wide for an instance and later has a smile on face knowing the playful nature of Jay. “By the way, you know Pari, today along with Hitesh I met someone else as well.” Jay narrates the instance at office where she’d called to check if he’d his food on time.

“Who’s Shriya? I didn’t know you had any female friends as well?” Parnika wanted to tell him something else but she didn’t want to break his excitement about sharing his day. It was normal for Jay to share his day every night with her when they dined together or afterwards while sleeping on their open terrace whilst gazing at the night full of twinkling stars. For her it meant something else but for Jay, he never realised the hidden meaning. It was just having someone to share all his secrets with his best friend. It was something that he wanted to cherish for life.

Chapter Three

CHAPTER THREE

Jay parks his car in the basement parking and walks towards the office. His heart starts beating faster as his nervousness increases. He shows his office-id card to the guard outside. Getting a nod from the guard he pushes the door open. In front of his eyes were abundance of cubicles where he could see several people furiously typing on their computers. Some were thinking with the pen in their mouth while some were running to and fro from different cabins. He slowly walks towards receptionist. “It’s my first day here, whom am I supposed to see first?” He shows the receptionist his ID card. She smiles and takes the card and taps on a scanner which then pops up Jay’s information on the computer screen. “You should Mr. Sanjay Arora. He’s the Head manager here and since you’re working on a secret project, he’d be the one to guide you around.” She smiles as she returns Jay his ID card. “Where would I find him?” Jay wears clips his ID around his belt hoop. “ Last cabin to the right.” She gestures and gives him a smile. It wasn’t abnormal for Jay for girls be smiling sheepishly around him. Parnika used to do that all the time hence he didn’t bother about her and walked towards the cabin.

He knocks on the door twice and a voice says, “Come in!” From Inside. He opens the door to find sea of cable wires around. Between those wires there were two men standing. One who was constantly busy on his phone where other was working on the cables. “Hello! I was asked to see Mr. Sanjay Arora.” Jay enters the cabin carefully avoiding the tripping hazard. “That’s me, and what do you need me for?” The person busy with his phone asks Jay without bothering to look at him still busy scrolling on his phone.

“Uhm, It’s my first day here. I was informed that you’d show me around.” Jay’s nervousness wasn’t getting any better. He continued to wonder about what’s wrong with all these cables being spread about room like inedible spaghetti in large plate. “Ah, don’t bother. There was a power surge and it short-circuited the wirings and hence I am here trying to catch up with work on my phone.” Sanjay gets up from the couch slipping is phone back in his pant’s pocket. He walks towards Jay and pulls his hand out for a shake. “Hi, I’m Sanjay but you can call me Deb. Also, I know you Jay but seeing your facial expression I don’t think you remember me, do you?” He smiles as Jay still wonders Where have I seen him before? “Let me give you a hint. UltraAI Competition, Bangalore?”

Jay wonders for a while before a bright smile appears on his face. “Oh yes, I remember you sir. I’m so sorry. I thought you’d be in Canada” Jay rubs back of his neck. “Oh yes, I was in Canada but after that AI project of yours I had an idea in my mind that I wanted to work upon. I pitched the idea to my seniors and they got it approved. So here I am and you will be working with me on it.” Deb hands him a file carefully trying not to get tripped with cables. “I think we should work somewhere else and let him finish his job?” Jay takes the file. “Ya, I think we should move to your cabin. Let me take my laptop.” Deb arches forward and grabs his laptop bag from the table.

Sanjay walks him to the cabin adjacent to his he gestures Jay to open the door. “That’s your cabin my young man.” Jay moves ahead and opens the door. A huge smile appears on his face as he walks in and looks at Sanjay. “Yes young man, He will be working with you as well. We had been observing you and your projects after your UltraAI event. We decided to contact your college and take your project to an advance level. So we took over your project and your team. Hence you’d be continuing it here for us with your team. Are you ready?” Sanjay takes the file from Jay’s hands and opens the Non-Disclosure Agreement. “Since we don’t want anyone else apart from this team to know, you’d need to sign this NDA so we can begin with the project as we want this to be one of the main features in our device.” Jay reads the agreement and looks at Hitesh. Hitesh nods and Jay places the file down on the table as he signs the NDA.

Hitesh and Jay together had designed an AI to predict the best investment option for anyone according to their profile. It was so accurate that it had attracted a ton of attention during the UltraAI competition held in the Banglore last year when they were still in college. They had no idea that their fun project would be the reason for them to land upon a job.

They were discussing about the project when someone knocked on the door. Door opens and a beautiful girl enters. She comes and hugs Sanjay at his waist who wrapped arm around her and kissed her forehead. “Jay, Hitesh, meet my only daughter Shriya. Shriya, these are the two young lads I was talking about yesterday.” Shriya extended her hand for a shake towards Jay. She had the same smile which he used to see when he met any girl for the first time. But it was a confident one. “ You guys would be working together on this software as I want it to have best of the both sides, finance and technology. Shriya is a Master in Economics and she’d be guiding you with the financial aspects that we’d be requiring in this software.” Shriya stands beside Jay such that their hands rub. “So, I’ll leave it to you guys. I have a meeting now.” Sanjay grabs his laptop and leaves. Jay notices a smug smile that’s been blooming on Hitesh’s face. The cabin had a nice ambience to it. White washed walls with brown leather couch and glass top table with two laptops on top of it.

Shriya takes one laptop and hands it to Jay.” These are for you two, you’d work on these machines. We have taken care of all technology based requirements beforehand. Right Hitesh?” Hitesh looks up from his phone with a jolt and nods. “What’s your field of study?” Jay asks checking on the new laptop that he’s been given. “I am a Master in economics and accounts from cambridge.” Shriya smiles as she sits beside Jay. “Dual degrees eh? Quite impressive. So you must be having plans for this project right?” Jay looks at her and catches her weirdly staring at him. She shakes her head and pulls her laptop from the bag.

Jay’s phone rings as the caller id display’s ‘Pari’. “Hey! What’s up?”, Jay excuses and walks towards the window. “Hey, its lunch time. Did you like it? I made your favourite Palak Paneer for you.” Parnika’s voice felt so cheerful, it always used to enhance Jay’s mood. “I haven’t got time to eat yet.”

“Ah, first day at office and you forgot to eat? Wow great Jay!”

“ It’s not like that Pari. Can you imagine who’s with working with me?” Jay’s excitement was on another level.

“Uhm nope. You tell me first why haven’t you had your lunch yet?” Parnika again was using one of her fake anger voices on Jay.

Don’t worry baba, hu Khai lais. ( Don’t worry dear, I’ll eat.) Hitesh is here, do you remember him. We used to study together. Remember how we used to team up against you and Khushi in pillow fight during sleepovers?” Jay dives into old memories as he tries to express how happy he was to reunite with his best buddy.

Create a Website for Free in 5 minutes - No Programming Knowledge Needed.

Many of you might be worrying about your online presence these days. But for a business, a website can be a way to present themselves online. Where most websites for businesses are either just information and landing pages. It costs a hell lot of amount to maintain them. Along with that there comes hassles to hire a programmer or a team and deal with all technical mumbo jumbo.

Whether you are someone who is looking to make a free website without any much hassle and cost or you're someone who wants just to have some presence online, maybe a resume? If you are a blogger, author or youtuber maybe some landing page that gives some information about you and then show cases all your works. You also can be a school kid who wants to show off in front of some friends.

Here, I'm going to show you an easy and effective way to build sites practically for free without any technical knowledge at all. I know the popular options like blogger ( which is too technical for some people), Wordpress (hosts ad and limits control to everything) and many as such. This one here won't show any ads nor is too technical to deal with.

Many of you are familiar with the use of Google forms where you just have to drag and drop and no major hassle of coding into stuff. It's quick, efficient and easy way of doing surveys whether internally inside your workplace or some public survey.

Simiarly, google has another tool in its toolbox named Google Sites. Just like Google forms, you can build your website with ease by just dragging and dropping stuff here and there. Creating buttons, headers, links, uploading images. Everything is connected with your Google Drive here. It's simple, easy and mobile friendly.

Wanna know how? then lets begin.

  1. Go to Google Sites website.
  2. Click on the plus icon you'd find in the bottom right corner.
  3. A new webpage layout will open where you can customise it as per your creativity.
  4. You can add headers, create text boxes, choose from the present layouts, play with the buttons.
  5. Once you are done creating the site of your dreams, you can then push the publish button.
  6. Now, the catch here is that you'd need to change the permissions to anyone to view. That'd make the site visible to anyone you'd like to share the link with.
  7. You can also set limited permissions, so that only a selected few are able to access your websites, if you want to host something that is needed for internal use, like a LAN of sorts but which is connected to internet.
  8. You can also connect your own domain with it to create your own custom URL or you'd have to provide some extension randomly to the 'https://sites.google.com/view/' where the main domain is by google and you'd get a kind of subdomain. It's like a username.
For example : I created this - https://sites.google.com/view/dhawaljoshi here 'dhawaljoshi' is unique to me.
So, what are you waiting for? Go try it out! There are a different range of style and options you can play with. Its a really easy and simple way to do it without anyone having ads on your website.

Chapter Two

CHAPTER TWO
Two Years Back - everything after this is from the past.

It was very early morning of Jay’s first day at work. He was quite excited about his first day. Even when if it wasn’t for the career he wanted but there was something different about this day. It was a day when he was going to start a new phase in his life and be independent. Jay wanted to pursue medicine like his parents but circumstances desired something else from him. That’s how he landed in the field of Computer engineering. He was quite good at it and landed a good job with renowned firm as a senior manager for the project that they had been working on during their final year. It was a huge deal for him as a newbie, where he had been given a position of importance.

No matter from outside everything was appeared to be well with him but inside he was deeply broken. He was living on compromises just for his parents to make them happy. He didn’t wanted to be a failure in being a good son as well. He decided to go with this career and see wherever it goes.

“Ready for the big day?” Parnika smiles and pours him some juice as Jay climbs downstairs dressed in peach coloured shirt with chocolate brown pants. Parnika’s cheeks flushed red, she loved watching him in formals. It just made him look more attractive. Parnika often used to stay with their family as they were neighbours and Jay’s parents were most of the time away from home due to work reasons. In their absence Parnika used to take care of Jay. To Jay she was already a part his family. He didn’t see her as a friend or neighbour. It was something that he never thought about. But they were always more than friends. He used to share everything with her, at times things that he couldn’t find courage to tell his own parents. She was a partner in crime for him who was always there like his shadow. He had never imagined his life without her because she was always there for him.

“Yes pari! I never had imagined I’d be given such senior position at very first attempt. I don’t know how am I going to do it but I certainly don’t  want to mess it up on my first day. I want to have a good impression on my team as their leader.” excited Jay gulps down on the orange juice and munches on the poha which Parnika had made for him. “Ma and Pa will be here a week late. Pa’s conference was postponed due to some reasons and now its postponed for a week. Since they both are there in London for a week more, they decided to enjoy around a little and visit some places.” Parnika said as she sat down beside Jay serving him some more.

“Oh nice! It’s been so long that they had a vacation. Although, I’d miss them here. Bas bas Pari, Jado thai jais atlu khais toh. ( Stop, I’ll get fat if I eat so much. ) Jay covers his plate with his hands. “Barabar khais nai toh kaam kevi rite karis?(If you won’t eat properly, how are you going to work?)” Parnika puts the bowl down and looks at him with a smile. Parnika used to call Jay’s parent’s as ‘Ma’ and ‘Pa’ since childhood as she thought of them as another parents. During childhood she got so attached to Shah family that she one day asked if she could call them ‘Ma’ and ‘Pa’ as Jay used to do. Shalini and Arindam found it so cute because a they always wanted a daughter and now they had someone who used to address them as parents. It was then a few years later when Jay was actually blessed with a sister and their family was complete. Now they had two daughters instead of one as Shalini often used to joke with Arindam when Jay was at school with his sister. Shah family had shifted to Ahemdabad in their ancestral bungalow that was uninhabited post the death of Jay’s Grandparent’s in an earthquake. The whole Bungalow was renovated and was now more like a mansion when you looked from outside. Parnika’s mom was now a part of a bhajan mandal and often used to go to places for events since he was taken aback deeply after her husband’s death.

Jay got from the table eating his breakfast which felt more like a full fledged lunch to him. “I won’t be able to eat anything now for the day.” Jay walked and grabbed his laptop getting it off charging and placed in his bag. “Ma says if your tummy is empty you won’t be able to focus on work.” Parnika says as she cleans the dishes. “Parnika, but if I eat this much i’d doze off to sleep while working.” Jay heads towards the door grabbing the car keys. “Hey pari, do you want me to drop you off?” Jay asks as he ensure his shirt is properly tucked in and he’s ready for the day.

“Yes, wait a minute. I’m almost done. Just can you take my bag from the couch and wait for me in the car?” Parnika removes the apron as she walks towards the mirror in the adjacent room. “Okay, don’t take it long, I don’t wanna get late on the first day.” Jay gets out closing the door behind him.

“You took such a long time, you know I don’t wanna get late today.” Jay blurts out as his fingers are eager to twist the key into ignition. “But Jay, you are 3 hours early than you must be, you won’t be late dear.” Parnika said as she climbed into the sedan closing the door. “By the way, I must say your new dress looks great.” Jay drives out of the garage and heads on to the main street. “Thanks! I just bought it yesterday for yo… I mean I liked this dress as it was on the display in the mall.” Parnika plays with the little hangings from her odhni. She wanted him to see her in his favourite colour today and hence when she saw this navy blue salwar, she couldn’t resist.

Much of their ride was filled with silly banter and usual talks. There wasn’t a time when things went awkward between those two. Parnika wasn’t your shy nerd girl. She was a total badass but it felt as if something happens to her when she’s in Jay’s presence. She was shy and calm around Jay but else she’d be the one you’d never want to mess with. With Jay, at times she behaved with him like his mom and at times like a best friend. There was something between them which both were unable to see but their parents already did long back. It didn’t took long for Parnika to realise but for Jay he was still clueless about what was happening around him.

Chapter One

CHAPTER ONE
Present

Jay walks into his room and drops his bag on the bed alongside. Tired after a tedious work trip, he drops dead on his bed in an attempt to catch some breath. He didn’t get a chance to grab some sleep during the whole trip. Their flight was delayed by 3 hours and almost had been cancelled due to stormy weather. But luckily, he was here lying down in comfort of his bed.

“Jay, you want something?” Parnika shouts from the kitchen downstairs. She had seen him dragging himself like a zombie from the door and wanted to comfort him. They had been through a lot and she wanted to make sure he was okay. She opens the door and peeps in,” Jay, you look tired. I have dinner ready downstairs. Should I bring it up for you? Ma and Pa are waiting downstairs for you.” She looks at him, as he rubs his eyes and stretches his arms outwards. “I’m coming down pari, just let me change into something comfortable. These formals I tell you, are the least comfortable piece of clothing in this world. Why there are so many layers in this blazer? It constantly felt as if I am being cooked all this time inside a microwave.” Jay rants as he slowly starts to undress changing into comfy home clothes.

Jay takes his shirt off and throws on the bed. As he removes the belt and is about to pull down his pants, he hears the door getting shut. That somehow brings a smile on his face and he shakes his head rolling his eyes. Parnika was still standing by the door breathing heavily trying to contemplate what just happened. Maybe, I should’ve peeped in for a while. Her internal monologue began as she smiled shyly and walked downstairs.

Seeing the blush on her face, Jay’s parents also smiled at each other and quietly began to wipe their plates. “He’ll be down soon. He looked really tired, that trip must have exhausted him.” Parnika said as she sat down at the table and began to serve food. “When is your mom coming back from jatra ?” Shalini Shah, Jay’s mom asks her. “Her itenary said she’d be back by tomorrow but she hasn’t texted me anything yet. I have left her a message, as soon as she gets network she’ll reply. That’s what she told me last time when I tried to call her 50 times and all failed.” Parnika smiles a little while she finishes serving everyone.

“Ya, mountains are a tough place to get network. Remember last time we had been to Shimla?” Shalini asks Arindam who was quite busy with his own thoughts at that moment. Shalini kept staring at him until that caught his eye and they all started laughing. “What’s the joke, share with me too.” Jay walks down in his loose navy blue tee and black pyjamas. “Nothing, your dad was busy in his own lala land while I was talking.” Shalini teased Arindam who is now keeping his head down and eating. “Oh boy! Not again! Hahaha” Jay chuckles.

“Wow, palak paneer! Yum! This made my day!” Jay exclaims as he dips his finger into the gravy and sucks it off his finger. “ Thank pari for this, she is the one who made dinner today.” Shalini gestures towards Parnika who’s blushing red. “ Thanks a ton pari!” Jay bends to her side and embraces Parnika warmly. “Nothing’s better than yummy food after a hard working day, right Pa?” Jay munches on to the laccha parathas. “ Agreed, I wish your mom did this every day.” Arindam tries to save a glance from his wife who from the side stares at him playfully and hits him on thigh below the table so that no one sees. “ Pari see, I told ya in the kitchen, didn’t I? All these men are the same. No matter how much you do for them it’d be always less.” Parnika couldn’t control herself and laughs out loudly. “Not my fault dear, Pari is such a lovely girl. At times, I wish we had a daughter like her.” Arindam says as Parnika bows head down to hide her blush smiling. “Hey! I am here! Ain’t I a good son?” Jay waves his hand with his mouth half full. “Yes, you are but we had wished for a daughter and it turned out to be you.” Shalini pats on Jay’s cheek lightly who was now frowning.

The dinner time was a lively time for the Shah family to bond together as most were busy with their jobs the whole day. Dinner was the only time they met together at one place. Arindam was a known neurosurgeon and often used to stay away from home due to international emergencies. He was known in top 10 surgeons in the world. Shalini used to spend time at her dental clinic as she had left the practice after getting married but later on on Arindam's insistence she set up a clinic beside their bungalow to continue her dental practice. Parnika used to work with Arindam at his hospital and often helped shalini at home when she wasn’t busy.  Parnika’s dad was a martyr in the Indian Air Force. He was martyred in while being on a covert mission when she was 9 years old. Since then she and her mother stayed alone. Parnika and Jay were childhood friends and had a really close bonding.

Their parents had decided to marry them to each other when they are of appropriate ages. But, they wanted their kids to explore on their own and find out about their bonds on their own. Jay had a little sister Khushi, she was 5 years younger than him but her behaviour was as if she’s the older sibling. Jay had a best friend Hitesh Mehta, who studied with him in the College. Both had a very close bond and he often used to stay at Jay’s place to keep him company whenever Parnika or Parent’s weren’t around.

They used to behave like brothers from two different mothers. Everything was seemingly perfect and happy in their lives apart from one thing that Jay was hiding. With busy parents, he often used to feel alone and deprived of love. Being a child he used to spend time with Pari and her mom when his parents were out for work. But as the time passed they grew up and he started feeling uneasy when their parent’s smiled at them being together. It felt weird for him since it was no different for him than his childhood.

A Special Surprise!

It's been super long time I had been writing a new story. Many of you wanted me to write a plain romance after reading my first book. Honestly, even I wanted to give it a try myself. I had been writing other pieces but didn't try a hand at Romance.

Hence I am happy to let you know that from today, I'm writing a new book which is a plain romance drama. I wanted to share a few details before I began posting and hence writing this post down. I will be posting this book on Blog and Wattpad both hence you can read at your favourable place. But I will be posting on Blog more often than Wattpad so incase you don't wanna wait for updates you can  follow the blog by clicking here! I'll try my best to post as regularly as I can so don't worry about it. Also I'd really love if you'd comment your thoughts and provide some feedback as this would be my very first plain romance book. Although I plan to make it like a tv show style rather than a book. So, lets see how that turns out as even I am not sure about it :P. It has taken me like 2-3 months of planning and discussion after which I got it approved by my lovely friend Pratishtha who claimed her position as my first fan, hehe. So, after this post, the story begins.

Here's the cover and blurb for you.

Still Holding On.... Aren't you?

Every single day many people come and go in our lives, but there are a special few that stay forever. They make such an impact that their presence is often felt in every single moment you'd live.

Online dating was a fairly new concept for him whereas she was a quite an old player in that game. He was new to this arena but certainly not naive in the game of love. A few hits there and a few saves here from each side and their pair begins to win every time. Beginning as friends first this was moving slowly ahead, brewing into something deliciously sweet. But as every chocolate has to leave its bitterness behind, this one leaves as well.

Then later a new round, new beginning and the game begins again. But this time he's more careful and decides to play safe. But again the same story repeats and he's left with a bitter after taste again. Though he was about to quit and call it a defeat, his internal ego didn't let him quit. Hence, again a new round of game begins and there she comes. This time, it was different. She was new to this world and he was quite an old player. Will the sweetness of the dish leave a bitter taste behind again? Read and find out.

How to get out of depression

It's been a super long time for me writing these talking or discussion kinds of posts. But well last few weeks were the reason I decided to write this one down so I have it in my memory lane for a long time.

We all have been in this due to one reason or the other. Most are cause by disappointment while having expectations from a portion of your life that you don't have a control over or maybe not. But after it happens all these internet tips can be a hit or a miss for you. You can be out of it for a while using some temporary options but in long term you'd be the same. Thinking about that disappointment you had and crawling back again into dark, warm, comforting den of sadness and depression. Cocooning yourself off the world and hopelessly trying to be a butterfly but when you come out its the same story again and this time the cocoon is stronger and for much longer time.

What's the solution to this? Can't we just end this for once and for all? Well, honestly yes you can and can't both. It depends upon you and your own will. Many times in life we expect a ton of stuff from animate and inanimate alike. But in life all things don't go our way and we need to learn how to tackle them. Being depressed and sad isn't the option for you.

You might think travelling, diving into deep music, writing, or getting workaholic and keeping your mind busy is going to help you at all but sadly these are some of the temporary fixes until your realize your mistakes and come upon a conclusion to improve. Many times we just land up in state of denial where we think we are the victim to the whole world. Later on you try being a rebel but since everything's inside your head nothing works out as expected again and you dive down in the sea of depression again. This time much deeper than before.

What to do so that all of this ends and you feel happy? All you need to do is just one thing. Accept your mistakes. Accepting the situation without any negativity or hatred makes it easier t understand and analyse where it went wrong. It helps you to develop further and improvise. But if you are in a state of denial and accept it that way, pushing the blame on others. It'll just get much worse trust me. Although life is a funny game, where once you reach a certain stage, it levels up and it does until you reach the boss level or death.

You get upgrades, challenges, rewards and failures equally. Most fun part in all of this is that, its unpredictable. You have to live in present and learn to move on without having any baggages. If you don't drop those that you are holding grudges against, you won't be able to grow and fall prey to depression time and again.

I hope this helps actually unlike the tips that you'd find over internet. I don't blame totally but you can't fix a cancer with first aid bandage.

If you like to read what I write then do follow the blog by clicking here! I'd love to know your thoughts on it so do comment and share if you like it. Also, I have a few surprises coming up next so stay tuned ;)

Also do checkout my book on Amazon which is a Suspense Romance  with a bit if thriller vibe. It has 4.7 Star rating so far in average, click here to check it out.

It's the age of Advertisments

The moment you open any browser app to the moment you go online and search for something, each and every move of yours over this world called Internet is tracked and stalked by someone. You just can't avoid any eye here, just all you can do is make it not something obvious to pay attention at. This isn't the topic I am going to write about here.

With all the businesses these days coming up with free models or as they more appropriately call as freemium models of earning, there are some who actually are annoyed by these things called adverts and rest just don't mind.

From some random music or video streaming app to OEMs, there are steps where your everyday driver like your so called feature packed smartphone is nothing but just a personalised display to show you ads? I know this is looks like some sort of paranoid thinking but its true. But the main question is why ads? Why not just make it paid subscription and let people enjoy content free of annoyances?

The issues lies here in the mindset of the mainstream public and media. Ads aren't bad, without ads, you won't be knowing anything even out of the 1km radius of area you live in everyday. But when does something get annoying? Do ads really benefit the companies and businesses that much that every single firm you can think of is busy running behind these ad giants?

Companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc.. track your even minor details like your height, weight, heart rates and what not to serve you 'personalised ads'. The reason that all of this is booming is because people love free stuff.

When you aren't paying for the product, you are the product.
Lets see how this works in the real life of Joe and Harry. Joe and harry launch a new business which is a new online video streaming service investing billions into the business. Joe heads for the traditional pay to watch model where Harry prefers the freemium model. Harry decides to place and show ads in the app to while people don't have to pay anything. They can just login and watch whenever however they like. Also alongside Harry decided to launch an option to remove ads by paying monthly some amount which is lesser than Joe's business model.

The people who were heavily against the ads decided to stick with Joe and pay while they enjoyed their content free from all sorts of intrusions. But slowly Harry's app interested people more with more content coming to his platform with exclusivity. Harry's app was used by masses and hence guaranteed more eyes to watch for all those content creators and revenue for them. Even though Joe's app wasn't in loss but it wasn't known by people or used that much since they had to pay to watch. While harry's app continued to gather more attention since there were options for both to watch for free and also if you get bored of ads, you can pay to watch just like Joe's app.

With time Joe's app was about to go down as since there weren't any more increasing number of users to his app, no more content creators were interested in giving streaming rights as much forget the option to make something exclusive  to their app. Since there wasn't much content to be discovered anymore people stopped paying to Joe and moved on to Harry's app and paid to get rid of ads.

While here Joe's app was taken off the market since it wasn't profitable anymore. Harry gauging the situation decided to make the premium price higher since there wasn't competition anymore around to catch up with him. Ads were paying him more than the premium subscribers and he wanted to maximize the profits out of his business while he could. Here Joe decided to ditch his paid model of business learning from the Harry's Model of doing business and started his own another app totally based on free viewing with ads concept. Now Joe's app was fairly new and to get more attention he decided to take the help of ads. Now he paid for the ads campaigns which got streamed on the Harry's app which was showing the ads.

Slowly people started giving Joe's app a chance and the cycle begins again.

You see, ads actually pay these businesses more than the paid models and also attracts way more people quickly than any other thing. Guess the reason? People like free stuff, it allows them a chance to explore things in much better manner. Ads aren't the evil but as long as people decide to love free stuff more ads are here to stay and business will always run in the way to earn more profit.
