This is quite an interesting story in itself. The concept was something or I can say totally new from the things that I've been reading from past few months. It was quite a refreshment in terms of plot idea, the way it was written. This book had sci-fi influence I could say. Why? because it had my most favourite part i.e. the Time Travel.
Time travel being most part in this story piqued my interest in this story and well I wanted to read more but there wasn't more to read..... I know it's weird but well I emailed author about this like did she kept low information about the time travel on a purpose or it was a ignored part? To which replied that It was not written in detail on a purpose, since its a short read adding more details would not have it a short story anymore. Plus it would then lay close to the boundaries of science fiction hence the way it is.
I really liked the idea how the time travel was taking place, certainly a new method thought about the concept of time travel. Generally there is some sort of physical device to travel through time, be it a fantasy or sci-fi influence. Here it was a totally different concept, I won't say that because then it'd be a spoiler. For that you need to read the book.
The things I liked in this book were short and crisp read, nice concept overall, to be honest the plot idea was impressive. But the execution somewhere disappointed me. I actually wanted to know more and read more while the book turned its last pages. Ah.. that cliffhanger feeling you know :P
Only if there had been more clearances on the plot idea and more of fine details about the things happening around it could have been even 4 or a 5 star depending on how fine and impressive the descriptions are. Since It felt short of read but yet interesting content I decided to go for 3 star on this one.
Other than time travel I liked the Journey of a musician shown here, how the industry and its factors influence any artist. Like there was a part where She was dying for a chance to get a break and then the magic of time happens and it turns out to be a total surprise.
Overall its a good read if you are looking to read something short. But lemme warn you it might make you feel like there could've been more to this.
